You're invited to Día del Sol 2025: Chapters of Change!

Once upon a time, a community came together to share joy, build relationships, and raise support for Grandville Avenue Arts & Humanities. It’s not a fairytale — it’s Día del Sol! This year, we’re celebrating the stories of young people and families on the Southwest side who come to GAAH to express themselves and find liberation, connection, and joy along the way. We invite our neighbors, supporters, and friends to join us as we celebrate our last chapter and raise money for the stories yet to come.

Since 1999, GAAH has been championing the creativity and curiosity of our neighbors on Grand Rapids' southwest side through inclusive arts and education programs at the Cook Arts Center and Cook Library Center. Our annual Día del Sol, or Day of the Sun, event brings together students, neighbors, and donors in celebration and support of the vibrant communities in our neighborhood. All proceeds benefit GAAH's arts and education programs.
